In 1617 it was already owned by another noble Venetian family, the Dolfin, who made it their manor house. The toponym "Mincana" is, moreover, ancient and refers to the location. There was the villa, located along the public road that at the time ran along the facade, and the farm buildings situated to the east. At the beginning of the 1700s, the villa still had identical looks and characteristics, and it was the will of Daniele Dolfin, patriarch of Aquileia, to rebuild and give a new outfit to the complex, also constructing a small chapel dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the years that followed, the villa lost its former splendor, and during the various ownership changes decorations, furniture, statues, and the altars of the chapel were sold; the garden was destroyed and transformed into cultivated land. Mincana today is a farm owned by the Dal Martello family. The villa is surrounded by the green countryside, covering an area of about 60 hectares, of which 19 are cultivated as a vineyard, which represents, with wine production, the main activity of the company.
