Located in Villa Estense (PD), Lavanda in Villa is a reality dedicated to the cultivation of hybrid lavender, with the aim of transforming it into precious natural products. Our activity was born in October 2023 with the purpose of enhancing an uncultivated and unused piece of land. After careful soil analysis, we identified the optimal variety of lavender to cultivate: Boscomare.
This ancient Ligurian variety, almost disappeared in the 1980s due to a fungus, has made a comeback in the 2000s. It was chosen to cultivate Boscomare for its strong and persistent scent, perfect for the production of essential oil, ideal for massages and perfuming environments.
In the same field, bees are raised that produce multifloral honey with a delicate hint of lavender, further enriching the offer.
During the summer blooming, which occurs between June and July, the field is open for photo shoots by reservation, guided tours, and special events.
