Villa Vigna Contarena, located in the center of Este in front of the walls of the Carrarese castle, is a historic residence dating back to the 17th century, originally built by the Contarini degli Scrigni family as a hunting lodge and place of leisure. The design of the main building is attributed to the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi; over time, the villa has been expanded to include the creation of the “Secret Garden,” a rare example of a Persian-style garden in Italy.
The proposed experience includes a guided tour of the villa and the park, in a captivating atmosphere, meeting at the entrance on Via Cappuccini 11 (Este). The duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
There are architectural barriers present; dogs are allowed only in the outdoor spaces.
