The Church of the Blessed Virgin of Health in Este is one of the most significant places of worship in the city, built as a votive offering by the community after the plague of the seventeenth century. The interior houses a valuable pictorial cycle by Antonio Zanchi, master of Venetian Baroque, who expresses his dramatic and luminous style here at its best. His canvases, rich in chiaroscuro contrasts and intense emotional participation, guide the visitor's gaze along a path of faith and rebirth. Zanchi's art gives the church a unique character, transforming it into a small treasure of spirituality and seventeenth-century painting.
