In the heart of Este, facing the ancient walls of the Carrarese castle, stands Villa Vigna Contarena, a residence rich in history and charm. Built in the 14th century by the noble Venetian family of Contarini degli Scrigni as a hunting lodge and venue for festivities, it was expanded over time based on the design by the architect Vincenzo Scamozzi.
The journey will take us to discover the Villa and its splendid Park, up to the “Secret Garden,” a rare Persian-style garden dating back to the 17th century.
