Villa Pisani Bolognesi Scalabrin tells over a thousand years of history, from the ancient medieval court to the sumptuous Renaissance palace, and to the refined cultural salon of the nineteenth century.
The main figures were the Pisani family, Venetian merchants and nobles, and especially Evelina van Millingen, who in the 19th century transformed the garden and park into a masterpiece of harmony between nature and architecture, inspired by Italian, Victorian, and Islamic traditions.
The villa preserves unique artistic, architectural, and botanical testimonies, with fountains, statues, neo-Gothic temples, and centuries-old plants that reflect the history, cosmopolitan taste, and personality of Evelina.
The property passed through different families until the current Bolognesi Scalabrin, who have cared for its restoration, preserving the historical and cultural memory of the place.
