Villa Capodaglio, già Sanudo Bragadin Vasoin

It was built on the fortification of the Carraresi Castle, revealing its medieval origins even today, as evidenced by the massive pillars embedded within the perimeter walls and the arrow slits. It became a settlement of the Venetian patriciate as a productive rural estate and administrative center of the possessions on the mainland, later a summer residence for vacations, and today a private home. The property, configured in its current form between 1400 and 1500, consists of a rectangular structure with three floors flanked by large porticoes, an inner courtyard, outbuildings, and a vast garden surrounded by walls. Today, it is a private residence of the Vasoin-Capodaglio family, surrounded by vineyards of Cabernet, Merlot, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Palava, and Glera. Inside the courtyard, now also the center of the property's winemaking activity, the winery develops where elements of ancient and modern grape aging techniques blend naturally with the characteristic elements of the complex, and the basement tavern, now dedicated to wine tasting. Not open to visitors.
