1921 Spazio Calegaro 2021 is not just a Museum dedicated to silver but a journey into tradition where one can demonstrate how handmade items can still amaze the visitor.
Luigi Calegaro opened the shop in 1921, becoming the fourth Silversmith in Padua with the brand 4PD. In the years around the post-war period, the production of handcrafted items grew rapidly to the highest quality standards.
The second generation, led by his son Francesco, helped to make the Calegaro brand strong and well-known around the world.
Today, the company is a solid representation of Made in Italy and its excellence and elegance in creating luxury silverware, jewelry, tableware, cutlery, and design objects.
Its brand has contributed to the evolution of taste, habits, traditions, and creative trends, collaborating with major international names such as: Tiffany & Co., Hermès, Buccellati, and many others.
On October 25, 2019, the new exhibition space "1921 Spazio Calegaro 2021" was inaugurated inside Villa Calegaro in Teolo, the main headquarters of the company, which is visitable by appointment. This space is presented as the museum of jewelry and tableware that tells a century of stories of silver and silversmiths, of handcrafted items and production processes, and of the long tradition embodied by the Calegaro family.
