The Videostoria Film Festival of Este reaffirms itself in 2026 as one of the most original cultural events dedicated to the relationship between cinema, memory, and territory. Born to enhance historical dissemination through audiovisual language, the festival offers screenings, documentaries, performances, meetings, and cultural paths capable of engaging audiences, scholars, and enthusiasts.
The 2026 edition carries on the legacy of the previous exhibitions held in Este, where local history intertwines with great universal themes through images, music, and storytelling. Among cloisters, villas, palaces, and symbolic places of Este and the surrounding area, the festival aims to transform the local historical and cultural heritage into a lively and shared experience.
From June 5 to September 6, twelve events featuring documentaries, theater, music, and historical archives to rediscover Este and the territory, with events in the iconic places of the city and a new absolute premiere.
