From May to July, four events will guide the audience on a journey through contemporary fiction and non-fiction, giving voice to stories of talent, memory, emancipation, and female identity.
The meetings will take place in two symbolic locations of the city: the evocative Cloister of Consolations and the Cloister of San Francesco ex Vescovile, ideal settings for evenings dedicated to cultural dialogue and the discovery of great Italian women writers.
On May 30, Ilaria Capua will be the protagonist with Don't Give Up. A Manual for Resistance for the Assertion of Female Talent; on June 4, there will be Manuela Faccon with The Factory of Women. On June 19, Francesca Giannone will arrive with The Years in Black and White, while on July 18, Stefania Auci will close the series with The Dawn of the Lions.
All events are free of charge, offering citizens and visitors the opportunity to experience Este through culture, among books, history, and places of great charm.
