Tony (Dominic Sessa) is nineteen years old, brilliant, restless, and hungry for life. When yet another impulsive decision leads him to the coastal town of Provincetown, he finds himself almost by accident immersed in the chaotic and adrenaline-fueled world of a local restaurant's kitchen, led by a strict and demanding chef who possesses deep humanity (Oscar nominee Antonio Banderas). Over the course of a summer, that boy in search of a place in the world will take the first steps on the journey that will make him a legend.
