Stabat Mater by Gioachino Rossini, liturgical sequence in music composed between 1831 and 1841, based on the words of the hymn to Mary, created in the 13th century and attributed to Jacopone da Todi
The performers will include soprano Silvia Ghirardini, mezzo-soprano Ornella Silvestri, tenor Mattia Pozzobon, and bass Maurizio Franceschetti. The interpreters will be accompanied by the choir “Insieme vocale Città di Conegliano” and the choir of the Monteortone sanctuary “Gino Spadati”. The musical accompaniment is entrusted to the maestros Cristiano Zanellato (on piano) and Martino Grigoletto (on organ). The direction of the show is by maestro Mauro Roveri.
