Free guided tours of the archaeological site “all’Olmo” in Este, promoted by the Municipality of Este and the University of Verona as part of a valorization project supported by the Cariparo Foundation. The research, conducted by the Department of Cultures and Civilizations of the University of Verona, investigates important structures from the Roman era such as the Forum (political, judicial, and commercial center) and the Decumanus (the main artery of the city).
In order to raise awareness of the archaeological heritage to everyone, the site will be open to the public with guided tours led directly by the archaeologists, who will explain the ongoing activities and the artifacts found.
Tour dates: Friday, May 22 and 29, 2026
Times: 4:30 p.m.–5:15 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.–6:15 p.m.
Location: via Salute / via Olmo (parking Isidoro Alessi)
Excavation period: May 4–29, 2026
