Piazza Maggiore in Este transforms into a suggestive medieval setting for Living Chess, an event that combines history, spectacle, and tradition.
The protagonists will be authentic characters in costume, called to bring to life a spectacular representation inspired by the world of chess, turning the square into a large open-air chessboard. Kings, warriors, and medieval figures will accompany the audience on a journey into the past, amidst suggestive and engaging atmospheres.
The initiative is promoted by Nuova Pro Loco Este 2020, in collaboration with Ente Pro Loco Italiane, Associazione Botteghe Medievali, and the Municipality of Este, with the aim of enhancing the historic center and the history of the city through an event designed for all ages.
The appointment is in Piazza Maggiore in Este, to attend a suggestive and scenic event, where the charm of chess meets that of historical reenactments.
