Valbona di Lozzo Atestino is preparing to celebrate San Rocco 2025. From August 14 to August 18, the hamlet will come alive with a rich program of events that combines tradition, music, gastronomy, and solidarity, offering five days of activities dedicated to residents and visitors.
The opening, on Thursday, August 14, will feature "Valbona sotto le stelle," with the DJ set by Morgan and Andrea Meggio. On Friday, August 15, there will be the traditional sport fishing event "Memorial Franco Jarina e Walter Lazzarini," the proceeds of which will be donated to charity, followed by a musical evening with Urban Country.
The most heartfelt moment will be on Sunday, August 16, a day dedicated to the patron saint San Rocco. After the evening Mass, the saint will be accompanied in a suggestive medieval procession with costumed characters, a marching band, and flag throwers. The celebration will continue in the castle courtyard with a show of flags, drums, and music, before the grand finale with DJ Alessio.
On Monday, August 17, live music will feature Millennial Vibes, while Tuesday, August 18, will conclude the festival with DJ Omar.
Throughout the duration of the event, food stalls will be active with specialties such as musso, tripe, and other traditional offerings, along with a youth area serving greasy sandwiches and porchetta. The traditional charity raffle will also be present, with proceeds supporting solidarity initiatives.
An event that confirms the feast of San Rocco as one of the most anticipated events of the summer in the Colli Euganei.
