The Abbey of Carceri is the protagonist of a special day dedicated to culture, conviviality, and participation. The Pro Loco of Carceri, the Parish of Santa Maria delle Carceri, the Centro Noi of Carceri, and the Welcome Group Abbey and Museum, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Santa Caterina d’Este and in collaboration with the Atesino Consortium, propose a rich program of initiatives.
The day starts at 9:30 a.m. with the Barter Market and the creative activity “Between Art and Mosaic,” designed for families. At 11:00 a.m., the Holy Mass is celebrated in the Abbey Church of Carceri, followed at 12:30 p.m. by the Community Lunch in the classrooms of the Camaldolese Cloister.
The afternoon is dedicated to music, sports, and youth: at 3:00 p.m., there will be a party with I Sbandà del Cao de La, at 3:15 p.m., the gathering day of the Football Association Carceri will take place, while at 3:30 p.m., the graduates of 2026 will be celebrated, with the delivery of the diploma and the Italian Constitution. The program will close at 4:00 p.m. with the concert of the “Choir Orchestra” of the State Comprehensive Institute of Lozzo Atestino.
Throughout the day, guided tours of the Abbey will also be available. An event open to all, to rediscover a place rich in history and to experience a day of celebration and community together.
