On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, the Althedame Association of Este presents a special evening dedicated to word, music, and the values of peace and friendship among peoples.
On Friday, February 21, at 8:45 PM, the Teatro Filodrammatici of Este will host the event “Poems and songs to say goodbye,” a meeting that combines poetic texts in the mother tongue and live musical performances, in an artistic dialogue capable of transcending borders and differences.
On stage will be the singer-songwriters Oscar Berti, Finecielo, and the duo Tok&Tin, who will guide the audience through a journey made of words, sounds, and emotions, in the spirit of sharing and solidarity.
Admission is by free donation, and the proceeds will be donated to support Father Giovanni Girardi, who is engaged in aid and cooperation activities in Bentiu, South Sudan.
