On Tuesday, June 30 at 8.45 p.m., the Chiostro San Francesco of the former Diocesan Palace of Este will host the screening of Love Meetings, the famous documentary made in 1964 by Pier Paolo Pasolini. A work that is still relevant, capable of recounting the social, cultural, and moral changes in post-war Italy through interviews and testimonies.
The evening will be introduced by Domenico Chirico, a researcher at the University of Padua, who will guide the audience in the reading of a film considered one of the most significant investigations into the customs and identity of Italians in the twentieth century.
The initiative is promoted by the Equal Opportunities Commission of the Municipality of Este in collaboration with the Cultural Association Ennesima, aiming to provide an opportunity for reflection and discussion on issues of society, relationships, and rights.
Admission is free.
