You Man-su, a specialist in paper production with twenty-five years of experience, leads a simple and serene life with his wife Miri and their two children. Work is more than a profession; it is what shapes his identity: “I have everything I desire,” he can proudly say. However, when his company fires him without warning, his life takes a nosedive, and he risks seeing everything he has built crumble: the mortgage on the house, the greenhouse he passionately tends to, the dance lessons with his wife, even the upkeep of the two golden retrievers that his children are very attached to. In desperation, he goes all in and applies to Moon Paper, the company where he believes he can prove his worth. Convinced that he deserves that job more than anyone else, he makes a very specific decision: “If there’s no place for me, I will find a way to make space for myself.” How far will he be willing to go if there is no other choice?
