Location: Due Carrare

It is one of the two mill sites present on the Biancolino Canal (the other is the Mulino di Pontemanco), located at the intake sluice. Today, you can see the masonry building with the reconstructed metal wheel, which has replaced the old ones that were in operation as early as 1200. The activity ceased in 1919 on the left side and a few years later on the other side of the canal. From the above road Battaglia, the remains of the five sluices are still visible, four of which have water wheels (the central one was used for water discharge). Descending along via Saline, you can still see both the water diversion and part of the two-arch masonry bridge over which the old "post" Adriatic road ran before the expansion.
