La tosatura e la lissia

From 10:00 a.m. until sunset, experience a day outdoors dedicated to discovery and ancient traditions. It will be a unique opportunity to closely observe THE WORLD OF SHEARING AND LISSIA, rediscovering the ancient gestures related to the care and processing of wool.  
In the morning, there will be a cooking demonstration of traditional cuisine by the Compagnia dell’Angelo association; at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. the Lissia by the Compagnia dell’Angelo association; at 3:45 p.m. shearing and the shepherd with a final diploma for the little ones; at 3:45 p.m. "let's make cheese"; from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. a wool weaving workshop by Eli40 handweaving (additional contribution of € 5 per person on the entrance ticket, registration on site); from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. a painting workshop by Sorseggiare la pittura (additional contribution of € 7 per person on the entrance ticket, registration on site)
Furthermore, it will be possible to visit the park from 10:00 a.m. until sunset, the caves open and visitable independently (without a guide) from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the last entrance at 5:30 p.m. and the Villa, visitable ONLY with a guide at 11:00 a.m. and at 3:00 p.m. The guided tour (by reservation) includes the tour of the park and caves and concludes in the villa (about 2 hours)
A bar will be active throughout the event with ice creams, craft beers, soft drinks, coffee, and a refreshment point organized by the Valle Madonnina farm.
