The Pedal of Life is the Padua Stage of the Giro d'Italia delle Cure Palliative Pediatriche! Let's pedal together with Breath&Heart in support of the new Pediatric Hospice of Veneto and to ensure that children with complex conditions and their families receive pediatric palliative care, as they have the right to live the best possible life.
The Giro d'Italia delle Cure Palliative Pediatriche (5th edition) is a national event promoted by the Maruzza Foundation to spread awareness of pediatric palliative care across different regions of Italy, aimed at ensuring the best possible quality of life for minors affected by incurable conditions and their families.
The La Miglior Vita Possibile Foundation organizes the Padua Stage with "The pedal of LIFE" along the Ring of the Euganean Hills. An ecological solidarity ride that invites everyone to participate: it is a special occasion to be together, move outdoors, and support an important cause.
The pedal of Life is open to everyone: athletes, amateurs, families, children, groups of friends, schools, companies, and even those who simply want to take a ride for a good cause.
You can choose the route that suits you best, either making just one stop or riding the entire Ring:
Ride 63 km (loop around the entire Ring)
1st stop (Battaglia-Monselice, approx. 9km)
2nd stop (Monselice-Este, approx. 10km)
3rd stop (Este-Vo' Vecchio, approx. 13km)
4th stop (Vo' Vecchio-Treponti, approx. 14km)
5th stop (Treponti-Battaglia Terme, approx. 16km)
To participate, a minimum donation is recommended in support of the pediatric palliative care projects of the La Miglior Vita Possibile Foundation: 5€
(Bike Pack included, while supplies last)
The departure from Battaglia Terme will be particularly interesting for families, with an information booth and activities for children in Pietro d’Abano Park from 10 AM to 4 PM.
