In the heart of the Euganean Hills, one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of spring returns: the Festa dei Bisi di Baone, scheduled from May 15 to 19, 2026. For five days, the village of Baone celebrates its symbolic product, the Biso di Baone, a soft and sweet pea grown for centuries in the volcanic soils of the area.
During the festival, the town comes alive with food stands, markets, music, and family-friendly initiatives. The absolute protagonist is, of course, the local cuisine: from the traditional “risi e bisi” to the farmers' specialties prepared with local ingredients, accompanied by the wines of the Euganean Hills.
Strolling through the streets of the center, it will be possible to discover local producers, taste typical dishes, and experience the authentic atmosphere of a village festival immersed in the landscape of the Euganean Hills. There will also be cultural moments, evening performances, and activities dedicated to children.
The Festa dei Bisi di Baone is the perfect opportunity for a weekend of taste, nature, and traditions, in discovery of one of the most beloved products of the Venetian spring. An event that combines flavors, conviviality, and territory, capable of attracting visitors from all over the region each year.
