L'invisibile filo rosso

07 April 2026 - h 21:00

Location: Abano Terme, Cinema Marconi

The film opens on the island of Ischia, featuring the character Poduccio, who is friends with Gennaro, a young nurse who moves to work in the asylum of Pergine Valsugana. In the asylum, Gennaro meets Giovanni (Massimo Bonetti), who has been locked away for twenty years not for madness but because he rebelled against power. Through the thread of memories, the film recalls Benito Mussolini, then a revolutionary socialist, and his wife Ida Irene Dalser (Ornella Muti). Ida, mother of Albino Benito, was persecuted, locked in the asylum of Pergine where she died in 1937, deprived of her child and her own identity, in an attempt to erase her existence from the official biography of the Duce. The film restores dignity to this woman, a victim of love and power.

Single ticket 5.00€.
