In the cycle of frescoes created in the Basilica of Assisi, Giotto recounts the life of Saint Francis with a narrative force that was new for his time: vivid scenes, human gestures, recognizable emotions. Not just painting, but a true story told through images, capable even today of speaking to our gaze and our sensitivity. An opportunity to rediscover this absolute masterpiece of art history and to be surprised by how, through color and light, Giotto was able to transform spirituality into storytelling. The meeting is part of the program of the Università Popolare Euganea for the and concludes the season of events of the Cultural Group “Lucia Boaretto,” which will resume in September with new moments of cultural deepening and sharing.
