From 10:00 a.m. to approximately 3:45 p.m., a hike will take you to discover one of the most fascinating corners of the Euganean Hills, where nature, geology, and history intertwine in a landscape rich in suggestions.
Along a trail of about 7 km, with a 270-meter elevation gain, it will be possible to observe the vegetation and the natural features of the area, discovering how geology has shaped the landscape. You will reach the rhyolite quarry and the evocative Buso dei Briganti, among rocks, natural cavities, tales, and legends.
At the end of the hike, you will visit the geopaleontological Museum of Cava Bomba, born from the recovery of an ancient lime kiln. A journey through time among fossils, minerals, and testimonies of human activity, to understand the evolution of the Euganean Hills and the deep connection between man and territory.
