Based on an incredible true story, The Penguin and the Professor follows the cynical English professor named Tom Michell, who moves to Argentina to teach at a prestigious college. When he saves a penguin from certain death on an oil-covered beach, Tom finds himself, unintentionally, becoming friends with the adorable little creature and taking care of it, even involving it as an unusual assistant during his lessons.
