The theme of this edition is “Protecting Heritage. Renewing, Resisting, Reinventing,” an invitation to reflect on the multiple challenges that cultural heritage, both material and immaterial, faces today and on the shared responsibilities necessary to ensure its preservation, vitality, and transmission to future generations.
The guided tour starts with two rare Chinese fans from the late eighteenth century, recently displayed in one of the museum's rooms: precious and delicate objects that, through their materials, tell a distant world, filled with refinement, travels, and encounters between cultures.
A journey through the works of the Museum's Pinacoteca, to be surprised by details, stories, and suggestions preserved in the collections and to reflect together on the keywords of the initiative: protect, renew, resist, reinvent.
