On the occasion of the Day of the Venetian Villas and the Autumn Hills of Veneto, Sunday, October 18, 2026 there will be an extraordinary and exclusive opening of Villa Emo "La Rivella" in Monselice. This is a unique opportunity for individual visitors to discover firsthand a magnificent 16th-century residence built in 1588 by architect Vincenzo Scamozzi, a student of Palladio, as well as its wonderful surrounding park.
The experience unfolds through a fascinating guided tour lasting one hour, allowing visitors to appreciate both the architectural and historical beauties and the landscape context of the Euganean Hills. The itinerary begins with the historic hydraulic works on the Battaglia Canal, illustrating the close link between the villa and the waterways of the area, before continuing into the charming Italian garden. The visit culminates inside the Noble Floor, where visitors can admire refined frescoes and immerse themselves in the history of the noble families that resided there.
Visits will take place in the morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting from the main entrance on Via del Porto in Monselice.
