Ghiaccio e limone

17 June 2026 - h 20:30

Location: ABANO TERME (PD), CRC via Donati, 1

Summer does not stop theatrical improvisation; rather, it boosts it with the summer review curated by the cultural association CambiScena. The new review for June-July is called "Ice and Lemon": six shows and two special events that mix games and fun, theatrical projects made of investigations and verdicts, fairy tales and 'disenchantment', environmental awareness, and a big final marathon of 12 hours of non-stop improvisation, from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. The entire review takes place on the stage of the summer garden of CRC - Anima & Musica in Abano Terme, from Wednesday, June 17, until Wednesday, July 22 (with the option to perform indoors in case of bad weather), except for the last act of the improvisation marathon, scheduled for Saturday, July 25, at the adjacent Teatrò.
Theatre Jockey + AMA Projects: the Amateurs of Cambiscena on stage at CRC - Anima & Musica
Dancing on stage at the summer garden of CRC will be the shows of Theatre Jockey and the AMA projects of the cultural association CambiScena on the six Wednesdays between June 17 and July 22.
Each evening will begin at 8:30 p.m.: in the first show, the improvisers of Theatre Jockey will warm up the atmosphere by ‘mixing’ stories, characters, and situations through the games and sketches that the Master will challenge them with. Following, from 9:45 p.m., will be the five AMA projects of the Amateurs CambiScena plus one show by the CambiScena company: six performances, one for each evening, where the actresses and actors trained at the CambiScena School will bring their stories, atmospheres, and places to life with their theatrical improvisation. Essential, as with any improvisational show, is the presence of the audience, which with its suggestions and inspirations will ‘fill’ the stage where the performers will improvise.

The six shows on the Wednesdays of the Ice and Lemon review are:
-Wednesday, June 17: The Little Fairy Tailors. In this show, four descendants of four great fairy tale narrators continue to tell their stories to maintain the family name. Thus, new fairy tales, all improvised, are born within the Kingdom of Fantasy.
-Wednesday, June 24: Cards on the Table. A jury of common citizens has already been convened for a few days to discuss a civil legal case. A recent, almost trivial dispute hides, however, relationships among the jurors, opinions, heated discussions, and a journey into each of their imaginations. Will the jury retreat to deliberate?
-Wednesday, July 1: Enigma. A brutal crime, a group of suspected individuals, and an investigator who must uncover the murderer. A theatrical mystery where the actresses, actors, and the audience must figure out who committed the crime, in the narrative intertwining that involves all present, including spectators.
-Wednesday, July 8: Milkshake. Gelamix, that is the master ice cream maker of the show, and many flavors as there are actors and actresses on stage, divided into two teams. Many challenges to determine the best ice cream cup… no, the best scene of theatrical improvisation. Who will win the challenge between the Fruit team and the Cream team?
-Wednesday, July 15: Disenchantment. The only musical that disappoints as you might expect. What could happen if the story went exactly as one might expect in real life? Disenchantment is a musical for those who no longer believe in fairy tales but still want to sing about it. Sometimes, a couple of notes are enough to make everything seem lighter.
-Wednesday, July 22: On Demand - CambiScena Company. The last show of the Wednesdays of Ice and Lemon is a representation that brings channel surfing to the theater. The audience chooses what to watch, and the actors and actresses of the CambiScena theater company accommodate them by continuously changing channel. Result: channel surfing, between cinematic genres but on stage and live!

The summer review Ice and Lemon 2026 also includes two special events, which will also take place at CRC - Teatrò in Abano Terme.
The first of these is scheduled for Friday, July 3, with the show Director’s Cut SpreK.O., promoted by Cittadinanzattiva APS in collaboration with Areamista and CambiScena, and financed by MIMIT D.D. May 12, 2025. On the stage of the summer garden of CRC, Claudia Gafà, Antonio Contartese, Alberto Ceville, and Gregory Eve will be the four directors who will present their four stories to the audience; only one of these will survive, while the others will be ‘discarded’ by the spectators, who will definitively KO waste. The evening is the third stop of a mini tour that also touches Florence, Perugia, Arezzo, and Rome, for the project Life from the SpreK.O. Generation realized and promoted by Cittadinanzattiva APS and financed by MIMIT, art. 148 - L. 388/2000 - D.D. May 12, 2025. Reservations are recommended at this link. Upon entry, the audience will be invited to fill out a presence registry: the collected data will be processed by CambiScena and shared with “Cittadinanzattiva APS”. During the evening, recordings and photos will be made for communications on the information channels of CambiScena, Areamista, and Cittadinanzattiva. By participating, you give your consent.

Closing the summer review is the theater improvisation marathon curated by CambiScena, Saturday, July 25, at Teatrò in Abano Terme (via Donati 1). The title of this 2026 marathon is Have Fan: an invitation to fun, to cheer for your favorite improvisation team, and to refreshment during the hot summer hours when the marathon will begin. The start is scheduled for 2 p.m.: from here, it will be 12 hours of uninterrupted theatrical improvisation, where the two teams face off according to the Imprò format, until 2 a.m. Only then will the winning team be revealed.
