Appointment for a circular hike to discover the southern and eastern slopes of Mount Cinto, in the heart of the Euganean Hills.
A route through nature, geology, and history, which will take you to learn about the events of the ancient furnace of Cava Bomba and to reach a picturesque columnar rhyolite quarry. Here, the unique rock formations, arranged in spectacular columns, resemble the pipes of a great natural organ.
After the visit to the quarry, the path will continue along an ancient mule track immersed in vegetation, among the natural environments and biodiversity of Mount Cinto, and will conclude by crossing the center of Cinto Euganeo.
The hike covers about 5.5 km, with 220 meters of positive elevation, and presents a medium difficulty (3 out of 5).
