Santa Tecla Festival 2025 – Este celebrates its beloved patroness with culture, faith, and fun!
From September 14 to 28, 2025, the city of Este will dress up for the festivities to honor Santa Tecla, a cherished patroness and symbol of spirituality and tradition. A rich program of cultural, religious, musical, and sporting events will engage both citizens and tourists in a unique experience in the heart of Veneto.
On the calendar, among the numerous events, are:
Religious events:
Tuesday, September 23 – Santa Tecla Day: 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM: Solemn Mass at the Cathedral of Este; 9:00 PM: Conference by Prof. Antonio Cipullo, University of Venice on Antonio Corradini and his masterpiece in the Cathedral
Cultural activities and guided tours:
Saturday, September 20: Activities for kids about the figure of Santa Tecla, visits to the Church of Salute and the Park of Villa Benvenuti.
Saturday, September 27: Evening visit to the National Atestino Museum for the European Heritage Days - Archaeological conference “News from Other Times”
Music and shows:
Saturday, September 21: Concert for Santa Tecla with music by Bach and Hasse
Sunday, September 21: Concert by the Martinelli Pertile Choir of Montagnana
Friday, September 27: Theater performance “Nissun va al Monte” at the Teatro dei Filodrammatici
