From September 13 to October 4, 2026, Este celebrates the Feast of Santa Tecla, a traditional event dedicated to the patron saint of the city. For over three weeks, a rich calendar of religious celebrations, cultural initiatives, guided tours, concerts, sports events, and opportunities for the whole community to come together will be organized.
Organized by the Parish of Santa Tecla – Cathedral of Este, with the patronage and collaboration of the City of Este, the Feast will be an occasion to rediscover the history, art, and traditions of the territory, involving citizens and visitors.
The opening, on Sunday September 13, will be entrusted to the Feast of the Our Lady of Sorrows at the Church of Pilaster, along with initiatives dedicated to sports and health in the historic center. The program will continue with meetings, presentations, concerts, liturgical celebrations, and visits to the most significant places in the city.
The heart of the event will be Wednesday, September 23, a day dedicated to Santa Tecla, with the celebration of the Holy Mass and numerous moments of deepening and culture.
The conclusion, on Sunday October 4, will unite faith and tradition with religious celebrations, the Pumpkin Festival, and in the evening, “Miracle Play,” a dramatic recreation of the life of Blessed Beatrice I d'Este, organized by the group “Beatrice 800.”
A calendar designed to experience Este through its history, cultural heritage, and community participation.
The program may be subject to changes.
