From August 28 to September 6, 2026, the Euganea Film Festival returns, celebrating its 25th edition this year. The event, organized by Euganea Movie Movement, confirms its vocation as a widespread festival among the Euganean Hills, featuring a rich calendar of screenings, meetings, and events held in places that characterize our territory. The festival offers an international selection of feature films, short films, and animated films dedicated to themes of the environment, sustainability, landscape, and communities.
Villa Rodella hosts an evening dedicated to culture, the excellences of the Euganean Hills, and environmental sustainability, in collaboration with the Francesco Petrarca Literary Park, the Roberto Morrione Prize for investigative journalism Under 30, and the Colli Euganei Wine Road.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with the Euganea Film Residency Open Studio, a moment of sharing the works developed by young artists during their residency in the Euganean Hills. At 7:00 p.m., the Euganean Symposium will propose a conversation between history, literature, and wine culture, with Beatrice Damiani, Elisa Stocchiero, and Paolo Gobbi, moderated by Micol Andreasi.
At 8:00 p.m., there will be a tasting by reservation of wines and typical products from the territory. The evening continues at 9:00 p.m. with the presentation and screening of the investigation Acqua in bocca, a finalist for the Morrione Prize 2025, and at 10:00 p.m. with Cosa rimane quando il mare si muove by Gaetano Crivaro, guest of the evening.
