Summer 2026 in Este ignites with emotions, culture, and entertainment. From June to September, the city transforms into a grand open-air theater, ready to welcome citizens and visitors with a calendar full of events spanning music, art, theater, cinema, sports, and literature.
A special edition, made even more significant by the 800th anniversary of the death of Blessed Beatrice of Este, a symbol of spirituality, harmony, and beauty. Her legacy inspires many of the events planned, in a widespread cultural journey that traverses historical places, emotions, and new experiences.
The main focus will be music, with concerts ranging from classical repertoire to contemporary sounds, alongside shows, theater, and initiatives dedicated to the little ones. In the enchanting setting of the Open-Air Theater of the Carrarese Castle Gardens, the Este Music Festival will bring nationally and internationally renowned artists to the city, confirming Este as a reference point for live music.
The historic center will come alive with evening openings of shops, events, and cultural meetings, including the "Parole d’Autore" review, dedicated to the protagonists of Italian literature. Even neighborhoods and fractions will be involved in a widespread summer, enriched with exhibitions, displays, and initiatives for all ages.
