On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Piazza Maggiore in Este will host the VII edition of “Woman with the Hat,” an event dedicated to the rediscovery of the Belle Époque, with a journey from the 19th century to the present day through art, history, fashion, photography, and culture.
From 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., Piazza Maggiore will transform into a large historical stage, featuring vintage cars and carriages, antique furniture, photographs, and documents. At 1.00 p.m. there will be an appointment with “Aperol Spritz” at Bar Baessato. From 2.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. the students of the Artistic High School “A. Corradini” will paint live alongside artists and enthusiasts.
At 3.00 p.m. and 4.00 p.m. there will be guided visits to the Reading Room and the National Atestino Museum, by reservation. From 4.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. there will be music from the Il Cenacolo school. At 5.00 p.m. there will be a grand finale with the fashion show “From Yesterday to Today,” organized by the students of the Artistic High School, with the Teatro Veneto Città di Este company as guests.
