Este invites citizens and visitors to experience a day focused on sustainability, natural products, food and wine, and creativity. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Piazza Maggiore will come alive with a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for discovering the local excellences and enjoying a pleasant stroll in the heart of the city.
Among the must-see events, the workshop “Junk Journal – Stories of paper and recycling”, led by art therapist Monica Roin, offers families and children a creative experience to transform paper and recovered materials into new stories and original creations. The activity will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sala Nassiriya. Participation is free, with limited spots. For information and registrations: 347 9930718.
In the afternoon, at 3:30 p.m., the Brolo Garden of Palazzo Sartori Borotto, in Piazza Trento, will host the public presentation of the project “Cultivating community – The Brolo is reborn”, curated by the Legambiente Circle of Este: an opportunity to learn about an initiative that focuses on greenery, participation, and the value of shared spaces.
The Ecological Sunday thus becomes an opportunity to discover Este with a new perspective, alternating cultural experiences, meetings, and local flavors. An ideal proposal for those who wish to spend an authentic and fulfilling day, rediscovering the pleasure of small things and the connection between environment, territory, and community.
