Corteo Storico e Gara della Quintana

Grand finale of the 41st Giostra della Rocca, Sunday, September 20 with Historical Parade and Quintana on horseback.
In the morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Contrade will parade in a grand costume procession, bringing to life a fascinating journey through time with outfits, colors, banners, and characters that evoke the history and traditions of the area. A moment of great participation and spectacle, in which each Contrada will showcase its identity, contributing to create a unique and captivating atmosphere.
In the afternoon, attention will shift to the Quintana on horseback, the most awaited and adrenaline-filled moment of the day. The knights of the Contrade will enter the arena to compete in a contest of skill, speed, and precision, engaging in a challenge that requires preparation, concentration, and great harmony between knight and horse.
Amid the cheering and colors of the Contrade, each knight will be called to give their best to score valuable points and lead their team to victory. An exciting competition that can unite the spectacle of historical reenactment with the thrill of the sporting challenge.
