On the occasion of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, patron of Italy, the Duomo di Santa Tecla in Este will host a concert dedicated to the memory of the Saint and his message of peace, brotherhood, and respect for creation on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 8.45 p.m.
The initiative, realized with the benevolence of the Clarisse Sisters of the Convent of Montagnana, in collaboration with the Parish of Este – Santa Tecla and with the contribution of the BCC of Rome, will offer the audience the performance of the famous “Gloria” (RV 589 in D major) by Antonio Vivaldi for soloists, choir, and orchestra, one of the most appreciated compositions in the sacred repertoire.
The protagonist of the evening will be the Corale Martinelli-Pertile, conducted by Maestro Paola Bassi, alongside qualified interpreters and musicians who will bring to life an event of great artistic and spiritual value.
The concert represents an important opportunity for reflection and sharing, capable of uniting music, culture, and faith in remembrance of a figure who continues to inspire generations with his example of simplicity, dialogue, and love for one another.
