In March, the “Chamber Music Concerts - Three different variations of our time's music” will arrive, a musical journey articulated in three evening appointments dedicated to contemporaneity and sound experimentation.
The concerts will be held at the Church of the Blessed Virgin of Health at 9:00 PM on the evenings of March 6, 13, and 20.
Opening the series on Thursday, March 6, will be flutist Francesca Barbisan with a solo flute program dedicated to composers of the 20th century and contemporary figures such as Ferroud, Hindemith, Varèse, Bozza, Scelsi, and Zen. The evening will also feature oboist Beatrice Maria Pozzato, who will perform Benjamin Britten's Six Metamorphoses after Ovid op. 49.
On March 13, the Ecat0rf Trio, composed of Sergio Fedele, Piero Bittolo Bon, and Francesco Bucci, will take the stage, an ensemble that explores the timbral potential of clarinets, flutes, trombones, and tubas, in a rich sound dialogue full of contaminations.
The series will conclude on March 20 with the PsicoGeografico Quartet (Andrea Bini, Enrico Caimi, Sergio Fedele, Davide Negrini), a formation that combines piano, drums, winds, and percussion in an original and immersive musical experience.
