Screening of the film "Five Seconds".
The new film by Paolo Virzì touches and moves with a story about the second chances in life. The director returns with a comedy about the guilt of fathers and the indomitable energy of new generations.
Mastandrea plays Adriano, a grumpy lawyer who, after a tragic event that has upended his life, has chosen to retire to the countryside, shut away in his pain and isolated from the world, at least until a group of young people decide to occupy the abandoned villa in front of him, determined to bring the vineyard back to life and share the future harvest with the locals. A glimmer of life and hope, represented by the explosive energy of the new generations (summed up in the vibrant performance of Galatea Bellugi, already praised in Gloria! by Margherita Vicario), begins to illuminate the gloomy moment that Adriano is experiencing, made sometimes lighter by the affectionate incursions of his law firm's partner, played by Bruni Tedeschi, who is hopelessly in love with him. Like the protagonist, she too harbors a secret, and the gradual revelation of the characters' secrets is certainly one of the film's strong points.
Tickets: full price € 7.00 - reduced price € 5.00 for under 12s and over 65s.
