When winter arrives and nature takes a break, one of the most beautiful events of the season returns: Woodlands at Christmas.
On Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th, 2025, there will be a new edition of this initiative that has become a classic for those who love to be outdoors. Basically, a whole weekend dedicated to guided walks through parks, oases, and natural areas of Veneto, right during the most magical time of the year.
With more than 30 organized walks by the Pro Loco in the seven provinces, it will be the perfect opportunity to discover enchanting landscapes and experience nature in a different light, the winter one. No special preparations are needed: just sturdy shoes, a hat, and the desire to leave behind the stress and frenzy of Christmas shopping.
The experience is designed for everyone, including families, and aims to rediscover the simple beauty of winter: the soft light of December, delicate scents, and the muffled sounds of nature. Each province will showcase its own sceneries to highlight, from the lakes and woods of Belluno to the Venetian lagoon, from the hills of Padua to the Vicentine oases, up to the panoramic views of Verona.
Woodlands at Christmas is not just a walk: it’s a way to close the year calmly and open a new one with energy, just as nature does, which rests in winter but is already preparing for the rebirth of spring.
