From June 26 to June 28, 2026, the San Rocco Hall in Este will host "Art, Mind, and Brain: Beyond Perspectives," a series of meetings dedicated to the dialogue between art, neuroscience, and personal well-being. The initiative, promoted by PerLaVita ODV and Pro Loco Este with the patronage of the City of Este, the Veneto Region, and ULSS 6 Euganea, will offer the public an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the connections between creativity, emotions, aesthetic perception, and brain functioning.
During the three evenings, interventions by doctors, psychologists, health professionals, and cultural operators will alternate, addressing topics such as aesthetic experience, empathy, mirror neurons, and creative processes. The program will be enriched by artistic moments and testimonials, including the theatrical monologue by Nicoletta Contran and poetic contributions from Maria Luisa Rea.
Alongside the conferences, the event will feature experiential workshops dedicated to Kintsugi, Biodanza, art therapy, music, and the exploration of dream imagery, with free participation by reservation.
During the event, the works of painters Graziano Concon and Eros Rizzo, as well as the artistic creations of Maria Luisa Rea and Nicoletta Contran, will also be exhibited.
Entry to the evening meetings is free, reaffirming the intention to make accessible to all a cultural journey that unites science, art, and reflection on the complexity of human experience.
