From April 24 to 26, the evocative Carrarese Castle of Este transforms into a true journey through time with the 24th edition of At the Court of the Este Family.
Three immersive days of history, entertainment, and tradition, to relive the triumphant return of Marquis Azzo VII d'Este who in 1257 freed the city from the domination of Ezzelino III da Romano.
Walking through the castle walls, both young and old can be enchanted by musicians, flag-wavers, folk dances, and ancient crafts.
There will be no shortage of armed camps, archery, street games, and a rich tavern offering medieval flavors. A program full of emotions with unmissable events: the fire show “The Sphere of Destiny” (Friday), the folk atmospheres of Celtic Pixie (Saturday), and the spectacular reenactment of the battle of the fall of Este (Sunday).
