The term garden, in Persian pairi-daeza or in Greek paradeisos, has the same meaning as paradise. During the guided meditation in the Selvatico thermal garden, we will traverse the sulfurous underground realms and enter the inferus, that is, the alchemical nigredo of ourselves, to progressively rise transformed into the albedo, into the light of paradise, mythologically represented by the Elysian Fields, on the Hill of Sant’Elena, where Villa Selvatico is located. It will be a transformative journey both exterior and interior, during which we will need the “golden branch,” the pass prescribed by the Sibyl of Cumae to Aeneas, and we will trace the footsteps of the Philosopher's Stone, hidden in the only place where we will never go to search for it… within ourselves!
