From September 15 to 30, 2025, at the Vincenzo Muccioli Hall, Piazza Mercato 26, Bresseo di Teolo (PD), the art exhibition “Venice” by the artist Adriano Mencini, a painter and poet of Venetian origin, of national and international fame, will take place.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Municipality of Teolo, represents a visual and poetic journey that narrates “Venice yesterday and today” through the author’s gaze. The event is also a tribute to his wife Giuseppina Varotto, the artist's first great supporter. The works on display blend memory, color, and emotion, evoking the Venice lived and dreamt of by Mencini, in a continuous dialogue between past and present.
Adriano Mencini is a multifaceted artist, recognized as both a painter and a poet. Born in Venice and a child of art, he has shown a natural talent for figurative arts since a young age. Throughout his long career, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, earning prestigious awards and recognitions, including the International Art Prize Milan and the title of Academician of the Cultural Academy of Europe. His works have been exhibited in major venues, including Paris, New York, Berlin, Madrid, Pompeii, Venice, and Padua.
Featured in art encyclopedias such as De Agostini, Comanducci, and Bolaffi, Mencini is now considered a reference point in contemporary Italian art. He lives and works among the hills of Padua, in an area protected by UNESCO, where he continues to paint inspired by nature and the memories of places.
This is an appointment not to be missed for lovers of art and culture.
