A mouthwatering experience!
A visit to the historic Giovanni Fontana delicatessen in the centre of Este to learn all about how they produce their high quality cured meats.
On arrival, you will be given your protective clothing (overalls and hat) and taken on a tour to learn about the history of this famous delicatessen.
The tour includes access to all of the areas where the DOP Prosciutto Veneto (dry-cured ham) is produced, with explanations about the process and visits to the meat curing areas.
And of course there is no better way to finish the tour then with the chance to taste the meats, paired with local wine and bread.
