The passage of the Olympic Flame through Abano Terme will be a moment of great excitement on the journey towards the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
On Tuesday 20 January 2026, the spa town will welcome one of the most recognisable symbols of world sport, offering residents and visitors an engaging experience that combines participation, emotion and discovery of the local area.

The Flame Route
In the late afternoon, the Olympic Flame relay will pass through the heart of Abano Terme, transforming the main streets into a place of celebration and gathering.
Five torchbearers will take turns along the route, each covering approximately 200 metres, accompanied by the official Olympic Flame convoy.

- Finish: Via Pietro d'Abano (in front of the IAT), 5:45 PM
A route designed to allow the public to experience the event up close, feel the rhythm of the city and share the excitement of a symbolic moment of international significance.
Useful information for visitors
To ensure everyone’s safety, on 20 January 2026 some temporary changes to traffic and parking will be in place in the city centre.
Dedicated parking areas will be available in nearby zones to facilitate access to the event.
