The Este Civic Library invites the public to a new series of events dedicated to knowledge, reading, and cultural dialogue. “Autumn Meetings 2026 at the Library” proposes three Friday afternoons to explore different worlds, from biodiversity to local history, to life choices narrated through literature.
It all begins on Friday, October 30 at 6:00 p.m. with Francesco Sette, a teacher and naturalist communicator, who will present Robin, a special robin. Through the experience lived with a small robin between 2024 and 2025, the audience will discover curiosities, challenges, and extraordinary abilities related to bird migration. The images of Antonio Legnaro will accompany the storytelling, offering a suggestive view of nature.
On Friday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. local history will take center stage with archivist Luigi Contegiacomo, who will present the double issue 23-24 of the magazine Terra e Storia (Cierre Edizioni, 2026). In dialogue with Fabio Targa, Mauro Vigato, Viviana Larcati, and Claudio Grandis, he will delve into research and testimonies that narrate the territory, its transformations, and its memory.
The series will conclude on Friday, November 27 at 6:00 p.m. with Sandro Ambrosio and his book Chiutzuquin. Five years between the harshness of life and the lightness of youth. In conversation with Viviana Larcati, the author will share the choice of two young people to move to a mountain village in Friuli, offering reflections on the courage to change life, dreams, and the relationship with reality.
Three opportunities to learn, deepen, and engage, rediscovering the library as a place open to curiosity and cultural participation.
