From October 4 to 19 2025, Villa Pisani hosts the solo exhibition of the painter Vanda Dimattia.
Born in Gravina in Puglia, Vanda Dimattia lives and works in Padua. She attended the Artistic High School and the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari. She has been actively working in the field of painting and figurative arts since 1974 with solo and group exhibitions. She has participated in important exhibitions, receiving numerous awards and mentions.
Her works testify to moments of real life, feelings and vitality of the soul, lights and shadows, forces in motion, the essence of life. The expressive value accompanies the creative reality, also leaving space for inventiveness and scenic elements that primarily become a manifestation of the artist's feelings, an atmosphere of harmonies and pleasure.
